Per Government Code, Section 11546.3, created by AB 2408 (Chapter 404, Statutes of 2010), all California State Agencies are mandated to migrate to the new state shared e-mail system, Microsoft Exchange/Outlook.
The Energy Commission is required to migrate all Novell GroupWise e-mail to the new state shared e-mail system, which is Microsoft Exchange/Outlook. Information Technology Services Branch (ITSB) is working in conjunction with staff from California Technology Agency (Technology Agency), Microsoft, and other contractors to plan and execute the move.
All Energy Commission staff are required to take Microsoft Exchange/Outlook training. Below are the classroom training dates. Please select the date you can attend and register. As a reminder, this is not free training, the Energy Commission is paying for this training as a benefit to you so that you will have an easy transition into this new system.
